Welcome to the first step of our journey! In this introductory module, we lay the foundation for key concepts and approaches in stakeholder engagement with evidence. You will be introduced to the context of complex land-use settings, the shifting role of decision-making, and an overview of the SHARED approach, a structured yet flexible method for working with stakeholders and evidence in real-world contexts. 

This module also sets the tone for the course and its learning approach. We will include reflection moments, case studies, interactive elements, and practical tools, which will guide you throughout the course.
